I have been painting and exhibiting work for over 40 years now.
I have worked as a graphic artist with DNTV One in the late 1970’s and after teachers college in Christchurch returned to Dunedin to take up a position with Toitu Otago Settlers Museum as Curator , remaining there for 18 years.
After the museum years I returned to university whilst also running the family business, The Green acorn Café, I also taught part time relief.
I am currently working on several projects in my studio at home.
The latest exhibition opens at Moray Gallery Dunedin on Nov 2nd 2024.
My work which leans toward abstract expressionism, focuses on atmosphere, time, light, colour and effects on sea, land and skyscape.
